I wish I had adequate response to your impactful and powerful email. First of all, I thank you for your very kind words but I truly see this challenging time and moment of your life, more of a testimony of your strength. Bless you for finding strength then and throughout your life after that. Your story is so powerful to me and i have to say that i was out there for 30 years reaching out to so so so many individuals and families in all levels of turmoil confusion, fear and in tragedy. It is truly wonderful to hear such a success story. So many efforts small and great to assist individuals and families and you do not always get to follow them through or see the results. Thank you for that. I truly did care about you then. I never see youth or adults in such a whirlwind of conflict as intentional or with malice but rather a journey of trying to find themselves. It is easy to misinterpret defiance and acting out as a malice but i always look at that as desperation confusion. I am so happy for you that together we could help you gain the strength to find movement and stability for yourself.
Truly it is about you! It gives me more happiness solitude and energy to listen to your articulation and outcome. I could see how the recent events in our world can trigger your moments back then. It remains tragic and complicated to understand the tragedies out there and how to reach them.
You have really moved me and i have to admit i cried reading your email. But they are tears of joy for you. Your words articulation and story are so amazing. It sure looks like you have grown to be a wonderful contributing thriving human. Our experiences shape us all regardless if they are positive or negative. The secret is to learn accept and adapt. You certainly have accomplished all of that. I know you thank me but I thank you more for sharing our saving moment together and how much you are a part of the world now.
